  • Condition: Pretty nice condition. Small rough corner at closure edge near "Black". Bubble burst on top corner of crate (right of cat). The air trapped during glass pressing allowed small area of peel at this edge. Manufacturing flaw, not as a result of careless handling. The "peel" is smooth and shallow. Ears are great! Tin closure is double drawn (painted) black tin from the 1920's, but is NOT the factory tin. Smith closures are traditionally gold tone lacquered or a single color on both sides of the tin.
