    Description

    Homer Laughlin Fanny Farmer Candy Shop Black and White plate. This is one of the Homer Laughlin Eggshell Theme style plates produced in the 1940's, with fruit and vine embossing around the front edge of the plate. It pictures a Fanny Farmer candy store on the front with the message "The First Fanny Farmer Candy Shop". The back is  marked "Homer Laughlin  Made in USA Eggshell Theme" with both the green wreath and HLC logos. The date code is M-44-N-5. No chips, cracks or crazing.  Shows a little surface wear on the front from use.  Overall in excellent condition given its age. 10" diameter. From a smoke-free and pet-free home.
