Description
THREE Victory Glass Co. tin wheeled automobile.Four door is a 1934 Chrysler Airflow. The real Chrysler Airflow was available from 1934 through 1937 and would be actual to production years for Victory Glass selling the candy container car since it is exactly this model car. Probably debut at Century of Progress Expo 1933/34, Walter Chrysler's Airflow car.
These examples shown are rolling on Mike Baldwin replica wheels/axles carefully made of vintage tin to restore this piece. The closures are all era correct red tin, but not factory pieces (lacking axle abrasions to interior of closure).
The RED Airflow is chipped on driver's running board aft of "B" pillar.
The YELLOW Airflow is chipped on driver's running board ahead of "B" pillar and is a factory chip pre-painting.
YELLOW car has heavy flowline (during pressing) above rear window which is NOT a crack.
The GREEN Airflow is chipped on diver's rear bumper corner and minute roughness ahead of driver's rear wheel fender arch at end of runningboard.
The red and green cars have silvered headlights which is found about 50% of time for this car. All three are same variation. 3/4 oz. in fine print under doors.
These are nice examples, I am just relating actual condition so there are no surprises. 3 Cars selling as is.
