    Description

You are bidding on a vintage original "Spirit of Goodwill" glass airplane candy container made by the Victory Glass Co., Jeannette, PA circa. 1927.  The container was made to commemorate Charles Lindbergh's solo non-stop goodwill flight from Washington D.C. to Mexico City and beyond.  The container retains part of the original paint and has a propeller that turns.  The front screw-on cap is tight and left that way for fear of damage if twisted off.  It is about 4 3/4" in length, 3 3/4" across the wings and 2 1/2" tall.  It has a small chip at the point of the top tail fin and the propeller has been straightened.  There is what could be a crack on the inner hollow  area that cannot be felt on the exterior and does not show on a photo.  Will make an excellent addition to any collection.
